London to Disneyland Paris by car — private chauffeur via Eurotunnel

Your family in one Mercedes Van, a chauffeur at the wheel, the Channel crossed in 35 minutes without anyone leaving their seat. From your London doorstep to the door of your Disney hotel in about 6h30 — pushchair, cases and the dog included. Business Van for up to 7 from 1949 €, LeShuttle crossing and child seats in the price.

Ask how to get from London to Disneyland Paris and you will hear about the Eurostar — then discover the direct train no longer runs, and that the journey now means a change at Lille or the Gare du Nord and an RER with a pushchair. Or you will price flights and add the airport transfers at each end. There is a third way, the one families with young children keep coming back to: a chauffeur-driven car through the Eurotunnel. One vehicle collects you at home, at your hotel or at Heathrow, drives onto LeShuttle at Folkestone, and pulls up outside the Newport Bay Club in the middle of the afternoon. Nobody carries anything. The children sleep when they want to.

Door to Hotel

Collected at any London address, dropped at the entrance of your Disney hotel or at the park gates — zero connections, zero platforms.

Built for Families

Business Van for up to 7, baby seats and boosters fitted free, pushchairs and cases without limit, a stop whenever someone needs one.

Crossing Included

We book LeShuttle, send Eurotunnel your passport details 24 hours ahead, and pass both border checks with you in the car.

This is the family version of our Paris–London chauffeur service, run with the same cars and the same Eurotunnel shuttle crossing. We recommend the Business Van for almost every family: seven seats and a boot that swallows a week of luggage. What we fit for which ages is on our family transfers with child seats page.

London to Disneyland Paris by car: the numbers

Whether you searched "drive to Disneyland Paris from the UK" or "how long is the drive from Eurotunnel to Disneyland Paris", here is the short version, measured on our own crossings — the most recent on 23 September 2026.

  • Where it is: Marne-la-Vallée / Chessy, in Seine-et-Marne, about 40 km east of central Paris.
  • Distance from Calais: about 320 km via the A26, A1, A104 and A4 — round Paris, never through it.
  • Time: about 1h45 from London to Folkestone, 35 minutes under the Channel, about 3h15 from Calais to the resort. Door to door, 6h30 to 7 hours with controls and a stop.
  • Crossing: 35 minutes on LeShuttle, booked by us — everyone stays in the car.
  • Price: Business Van from 1949 € one way for up to 7 passengers, 3329 € return, all-inclusive.
  • Child seats: free on request, fitted before we collect you.
  • Documents: a passport for every passenger, children included. British citizens need no visa for a short stay in France.
  • The train: no direct Eurostar to Disneyland since 2023 — the car is the only option with no change at all.

How the journey works, hour by hour

An indicative day, given as an example rather than a timetable — we adjust the departure to your address, the shuttle we book and the children's rhythm. France is one hour ahead, so the clock jumps after the crossing.

  • 7:00 am, London: your chauffeur is at the door, child seats already fitted. Cases, pushchair and cool bag go in the boot.
  • 8:45 am, Folkestone: M20 through Kent to the Eurotunnel terminal. Check-in at the lane, then the UK exit check and the French entry check, one after the other, passports shown through the window.
  • 9:20 am, boarding: the car drives into the train. Thirty-five minutes of low hum and a slight pressure in the ears; the children spend it watching the carriage walls go past.
  • 10:55 am, Calais: doors open, engine on, A26 heading south. Coffee and a run around at a service area whenever it suits you.
  • 2:30 pm, Disneyland Paris: A1, the A104 round the east of Paris, then the A4 to the Parcs Disney exit. Your chauffeur stops at the door of your hotel — check-in, and a first look at the castle before dinner.

The return works in mirror image on the date you choose, same car, same chauffeur, from the hotel forecourt to your London address. Fancy a day in Paris on the way — the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre — or an afternoon at Val d'Europe? We keep the chauffeur at your disposal and quote it as a simple extra.

Chauffeur-driven car, Eurostar, plane, coach or self-drive?

Five ways to get a family from London to Disneyland Paris, and we only sell the first. Here is the comparison as we would give it to a friend — no prices for the others, because they change with the season and the booking date.

Option Door to door Connections Luggage & pushchairs Children What you do
Chauffeur-driven car via LeShuttle ≈ 6h30, one car from your door to the hotel door None Unlimited, in the boot, never carried Seats fitted, stops on demand, sleep when they like Sit back. Van from 1949 € all-inclusive
Eurostar Fast on the train, then a change and the last leg to the resort Lille, or Gare du Nord then RER A or a transfer Limited, and carried up and down the stairs Fine for older children; hard with a pushchair at the change Queue, check in, change. Price per seat, variable
Plane to CDG Short flight, two airports, then 45 min to 1 h from CDG to the resort Two airport transfers Weighed, paid for, collected from a belt Security, boarding, a car seat to find at the other end Airport early, wait, land, transfer. Price per seat, variable
Coach Long, often overnight, plus getting to and from the coach stations Usually one or more Limited per passenger A very long day for small ones Wait, board, change. Price per seat, variable
Your own car on LeShuttle Same road, same 6h30 — and you drive every minute of it None Unlimited Your own seats; nobody to help while you drive Drive on the right, pay tolls, order a Crit'Air sticker for Paris, pay the Disney car park

When the car is not the right choice. Be honest with yourself before booking. A couple without children, travelling with cabin bags, will get there quicker and cheaper on the Eurostar with a change at Lille. And if all you want is a day trip from London to Disneyland Paris, only the train makes that possible — we can meet you at the Gare du Nord with our Eurostar to Disneyland transfer. The chauffeur-driven car earns its place when there are four, five or seven of you, when the luggage would never survive a platform change, when a baby needs a proper car seat, or when the dog is coming too. Then the six and a half hours are not lost time: they are a quiet cabin, a boot full of your things, and a day that starts gently.

Driving to Disneyland Paris from the UK: what you need

Passports for everyone, children included. Since Brexit every passenger crosses on a passport — a child's birth certificate will not do. British citizens need no visa for a short stay in France. We collect the passport details when you confirm and send them to Eurotunnel 24 hours before departure, as the shuttle requires; at Folkestone the UK exit check and the French entry check follow each other, both from inside the car.

The return is our paperwork, not yours. Our chauffeur holds his own UK Electronic Travel Authorisation for the journey back into Britain, and the vehicle already carries its Crit'Air sticker — the emissions badge anyone driving into Paris must order in advance. If you self-drive, that sticker, the French tolls, right-hand traffic after a 4 am start and the Disney car park are all yours to manage. With us they are simply not on the list.

Travelling with the dog? He rides with the family from London to the hotel, LeShuttle included — the shuttle accepts pets, the Eurostar does not. Bring the microchip, the rabies vaccination, an EU pet passport or an animal health certificate, and plan the tapeworm treatment a vet must record before the return to Britain; our guide to travelling with a pet on LeShuttle lists every step. One caveat: the Disney parks admit assistance dogs only, so look at the boarding options given on the Disneyland Paris website before you book the hotel.

Where we drop you. At the door of the Disneyland Hotel, Newport Bay Club, Sequoia Lodge, Hotel Cheyenne, Hotel Santa Fe or the Davy Crockett Ranch; at any partner hotel in Val d'Europe; or at the park gates. Flying in instead? Our Disneyland Paris transfers cover CDG and Orly, and the Paris to Disneyland guide explains the resort side.

The chauffeur's view

The best moment of this run is always the same one, and it happens at Folkestone. The children have been told the car is going on a train, and they have not believed it. Then the lane opens, the Mercedes rolls up the ramp into the carriage, the doors close, and there is a silence in the back that no screen has ever produced. On 23 September 2026 we crossed with one passenger and her cat; with a family it is the same wonder, multiplied. After that the French motorway is easy — empty A26, the beet fields of the Somme, a crêpe near Arras — until someone on the A4 says "is that it?", because the hotel roofs show before the exit. Pulling onto the forecourt of the Sequoia Lodge and handing over sleeping children at the door: that is the job done properly.

London to Disneyland Paris by car: FAQ

Is there a direct train from London to Disneyland Paris?

Not any more. The direct Eurostar to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy was withdrawn in 2023. Today you change at Lille, or go to Paris Gare du Nord and continue by RER A or by transfer — we run that Eurostar to Disneyland transfer. By chauffeur-driven car there is no change at all: one vehicle from your London door to your Disney hotel.

How long does it take to drive from London to Disneyland Paris?

About 6h30 to 7 hours door to door: roughly 1h45 from London to Folkestone on the M20, controls at the terminal, 35 minutes on LeShuttle, then about 3h15 from Calais to the resort via the A26, A1, A104 and A4 — a route that goes round Paris, never through it — plus a stop of your choosing.

Is it cheaper to drive or fly to Disneyland Paris?

It depends how many of you there are. Airline and Eurostar fares are per seat and change with the date, so we do not quote them. Our Business Van is one fixed price — 1949 € one way, 3329 € return — for up to 7 passengers, crossing, tolls, fuel, child seats and unlimited luggage included. For a couple the train or a flight is usually cheaper; for a family of five or six with cases and a pushchair, the car is often better value and always the simpler day.

Can I drive to Disneyland Paris without a Crit'Air sticker?

In your own British car, the Crit'Air sticker becomes relevant the moment you drive into Paris, and it must be ordered in advance. With us the question disappears: our vehicles already carry their sticker, so a day in the city on top of the parks needs nothing from you.

Can you do London to Disneyland Paris as a day trip by car?

Honestly, no. At 6h30 to 7 hours each way, a same-day return by road leaves no time in the parks. Plan at least one night on site, two for both parks. If a day trip is what you need, the Eurostar with a change at Lille or Paris is the realistic option, and we can meet the train at Gare du Nord.

Can we bring our dog to Disneyland Paris?

Your dog rides with you in the car for the whole journey, LeShuttle included — the shuttle accepts pets, the Eurostar does not. The parks themselves admit assistance dogs only, so check the boarding options on the Disneyland Paris website before booking. For the crossing: microchip, rabies vaccination, an EU pet passport or animal health certificate, and a tapeworm treatment before the return to Britain — all detailed in our pet travel guide.

Do you provide child seats for the journey?

Yes. Baby seats, child seats and boosters are fitted free of charge on request — just give us the children's ages when you book. Luggage is unlimited: pushchairs, cases and cool bags all go in the boot of the Van.

Can you drop us at our Disney hotel?

At the door: Disneyland Hotel, Newport Bay Club, Sequoia Lodge, Hotel Cheyenne, Hotel Santa Fe, Davy Crockett Ranch, any partner hotel in Val d'Europe, or the park gates. Your chauffeur comes back on the date you choose, with the same car, for the journey home.
