A meet and greet in Paris should mean one thing: from the moment you step off, someone is expecting you. Where that moment happens is what changes. With a standard airport transfer, it is in the arrivals hall, after the border and the baggage belt, where your chauffeur stands with your name on a board. With the VIP airport welcome, it is at the aircraft door, before any queue. In a railway station, it is on the platform, level with your carriage. Choose the level that matches the arrival — a late long-haul landing, a client to receive, a family with too many cases — and we take care of the rest.

Three levels of meet and greet, one booking

Meet and greet at CDG: from the name board to the VIP fast track

Arrivals hall at Paris CDG airport, where the chauffeur waits with a name board for the meet and greet

Level 1 — your chauffeur in the arrivals hall

Charles de Gaulle has three terminals, one of them split into seven halls. Give us your flight number and your chauffeur knows where you will come out: the arrivals hall of Terminal 1, of Terminal 2 — halls 2A to 2G, each with its own exit — or of Terminal 3. He stands at the exit of baggage claim with a board in your name, waits up to 60 minutes after landing at no extra cost, and carries your bags to the car. This is the CDG airport transfer as every passenger gets it.

Level 2 — VIP meet and greet CDG with greeter and fast track

With the VIP airport welcome (€250), the meeting point moves to the exit of the aircraft. A greeter is waiting as you step off, walks you to passport control and takes you through the fast track at CDG, the priority lanes that bypass the general queue. He stays with you at the baggage belt, then leads you to your chauffeur and the car. For a night flight into Terminal 2E, a connection the same day or a guest you want received properly, this CDG VIP service turns the longest part of the arrival into a walk.

The VIP welcome is available for pick-ups at CDG only, not for departures. For a flight out of Paris, see the complementary options below: fast track on its own (€120), VIP lounge access (€70), luggage assistance (€50).

Paris airport VIP service at Orly: Orly 1-2, Orly 3 and Orly 4

Orly 1 and Orly 2

The former Orly Ouest, domestic and many European flights. Your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall at the exit of baggage claim, board in hand; with the VIP welcome, the greeter is at the aircraft exit.

Orly 3

The newest building, between the two historic wings. Same principle: name board in the arrivals hall, or a greeter from the gate to the car with the VIP option.

Orly 4

The former Orly Sud, international and long-haul flights — the terminal where passport control matters most. The greeter takes you through the fast-track lanes, stays with you at the belt and walks you to the car.

Orly is compact, which makes the meet and greet simpler than at Roissy: the four terminals form one continuous building. The VIP airport welcome at Orly costs €250, exactly as at CDG, and is available for pick-ups only. Details of the transfer itself — fixed fare from €119, flight tracking, 60 minutes of waiting — on the Orly airport transfer page.

Meet and greet in Paris train stations: a greeter at the head of your train

Airports have arrivals halls; stations do not. You step off the train into the crowd, and the way to the car runs through corridors, stairs and lifts you have never seen. With the VIP station welcome (€350), a greeter is on the platform before the train stops, level with the head of the train, board in hand. He takes your luggage, chooses the shortest route and hands you over to your chauffeur at the car. On departure, he meets you at the car and accompanies you to your carriage. The service covers the six main Paris stations:

Gare du Nord

Eurostar from London, Brussels, Amsterdam and Cologne. The busiest station in Europe, spread over several levels — the one where a greeter makes the biggest difference. Meet & Greet at Gare du Nord · chauffeur at Gare du Nord.

Gare de Lyon

TGV from Lyon, Marseille and the Riviera, Lyria from Switzerland, trains from Italy. Two halls and a lower level: the greeter knows which. Chauffeur at Gare de Lyon.

Gare de l'Est

TGV Est from Strasbourg, Reims and Germany. A compact station, a short walk to the car with a greeter carrying the cases. Chauffeur at Gare de l'Est.

Gare Montparnasse

TGV Atlantique from Bordeaux, Nantes, Rennes and the south-west. Long platforms and several levels — the greeter saves you the search. Chauffeur at Gare Montparnasse.

Gare Saint-Lazare

Trains from Normandy — Deauville, Rouen, Le Havre. The greeter meets you at the head of the train and walks you to the vehicle. Chauffeur at Gare Saint-Lazare.

Gare d'Austerlitz

Trains from the south-west and the night trains, often arriving early in the morning. A greeter and a chauffeur already there, whatever the hour. Chauffeur at Gare d'Austerlitz.

The welcome is added to a Paris train station transfer of your choice: to your hotel, a meeting, or straight to CDG or Orly. Train tracking and waiting in case of delay are included.

Complementary options for your airport or station transfer

Each option is ticked in the booking form and added to the fixed fare, VAT included. They can be combined with the three levels above.

  • Fast track on its own — €120. The priority lanes at passport control, without the greeter.
  • VIP lounge access — €70. A quiet place to wait before your flight.
  • Transit and connection assistance — €120. Assistance for a connection between two flights, when the connection is tight or the airport unfamiliar.
  • Luggage assistance to your door — €50. At the other end of the journey, the chauffeur carries your bags from the car to your hotel lobby, building entrance or front door. See luggage assistance in Paris.

How to book your meet and greet in Paris

Chauffeur carrying a client's suitcases to the car after a meet and greet in Paris
  • 1. Enter your journey. Airport or station on one side, your address on the other. The fixed fare appears immediately; level 1 is already included.
  • 2. Tick the option. "VIP airport welcome" when the pick-up is at CDG or Orly; "VIP station welcome" when the journey starts or ends at one of the six stations. The price is added in front of you.
  • 3. Give us the flight or train number, plus the carriage for a station welcome. We follow the real arrival time and position the greeter and the chauffeur accordingly.
  • 4. Confirm. Your confirmation lists the chauffeur, the car and the plate. On the day, your name is on the board where you expect it.

A chauffeur's view

Most of our passengers only ever need the name board: they come through the doors, they see their name, and the holiday or the working day starts there. We keep it included because it is the heart of the job. The greeter is for the arrivals where the hall is not the problem — the hour before it is. Off a night flight into 2E, the border queue is where the fatigue catches up with people; being walked through the fast track with someone who already knows which belt your bags are on changes the mood of the whole day. In a station it is the opposite: no queue, but no hall either, and a lot of stairs between the platform and the car. Having someone at the carriage door with your name and free hands is what turns Gare du Nord from an obstacle into a corridor. Our advice is simple: book the level that matches the arrival, not the price — and tell us in the comment box what we should know, from a pushchair to a client's title.

VIP meet and greet FAQ

What is included in the free meet and greet at CDG and Orly?

Every airport pick-up includes it. Your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall of your terminal, at the exit of baggage claim, holding a board with your name. We track your flight, 60 minutes of waiting after landing are included, and he carries your luggage to the car. There is nothing to tick and nothing to pay on top of the transfer.

What does the VIP airport greeter at CDG or Orly actually do?

The greeter is waiting as you leave the aircraft. He takes you through passport control via the priority fast-track lanes, stays with you at the baggage belt and walks you to your chauffeur and the car. The option costs €250 including VAT and is available for pick-ups at the airport only.

Can I book the VIP airport greeter for my departure from Paris?

No. The airport greeter is offered for arrivals only, when the pick-up takes place at CDG or Orly. For a departure you can add the fast track on its own (€120), access to a VIP lounge (€70) or luggage assistance (€50), or call us on +33 1 53 26 04 33 to work out the best arrangement.

How does the VIP welcome work in a Paris train station?

On arrival, a greeter waits at the head of your train with a board in your name, takes your luggage and walks you to your chauffeur's car. On departure, he meets you at the car and accompanies you to your carriage. The option costs €350 including VAT and covers Gare du Nord (Eurostar), Gare de Lyon, Gare de l'Est, Montparnasse, Saint-Lazare and Austerlitz.

What happens if my flight or train is late?

Your chauffeur follows the flight or the train, not the timetable, so the pick-up moves with your actual arrival time. At the airport, 60 minutes of waiting after landing are included in every transfer. In the stations, train tracking and waiting in case of delay are included with the VIP welcome.

How do I book a meet and greet, and can I cancel?

Enter your journey in the booking form, tick the option you want — VIP airport welcome or VIP station welcome — and confirm at the fixed price displayed. Airport transfers start at €119 and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pick-up. For a group, several vehicles or a delegation, call +33 1 53 26 04 33 or write to us through the contact page.
