Private Chauffeur to Le Golf National

The Ryder Cup course, without the drive — clubs in the boot, on-time arrival at the clubhouse in Guyancourt, and a car waiting when you walk off the 18th. From your Paris hotel, your home or straight from CDG and Orly, for members, guests, travelling golfers and corporate golf days.

Le Golf National is where Europe won the 2018 Ryder Cup and where the Open de France has been decided since 1991 — the stadium Albatros course, ringed by grass amphitheatres and water on the closing stretch, is the round every visiting golfer wants. Getting there is the unglamorous part: the course sits in Guyancourt, in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, 35 km south-west of Paris, with no métro, no station at the gate and few taxis at 6:30 in the morning. A chauffeur solves the whole equation — you leave the hotel rested, your travel bag rides in the boot, and you step out at the clubhouse with time for the range before your tee time.

Airport → First Tee

Flying in to play? Flat-rate, flight-tracked transfers from CDG and Orly with your clubs aboard — suitcases dropped at your hotel en route if you tee off the same day.

Wait or Return

Scheduled return after your round, or keep the car at the clubhouse on hourly disposal if lunch on the terrace may turn into a second nine.

Corporate Golf Days

Coordinated cars and 7-seat vans for company outings and client golf days — see our event service and business accounts.

A chauffeur who knows the road to the Albatros

  • The right route west — A13 then A12 towards Saint-Quentin, or the N118 and A86 when the motorway clogs, chosen on live traffic for your tee time.
  • Drop-off at the clubhouse — bags out at the bag drop, no car-park trek with a travel bag on your shoulder.
  • Central Paris in 40–55 min, Orly in 35–50, CDG in 60–80 — early pickups are our routine, not an exception.
  • Clubs handled properly — one or two travel bags in a Business saloon, four players fully loaded in a Business Van.

To the clubhouse at Guyancourt — at a fixed price

Three starting points cover most of our Golf National rides. From central Paris — the golf concierges of the grand hotels send us their guests — it is a 40-to-55-minute run against the commuter flow, and your chauffeur builds in margin so an 8 a.m. tee time never feels tight. From Paris-CDG, count 60 to 80 minutes: we track the flight, meet you in arrivals with a name sign, load the travel bag, and can loop past your hotel to drop suitcases before continuing to the course. From Orly, the A86 west makes it the most direct airport approach — 35 to 50 minutes, close enough to land in the morning and play the same day.

Every fare below is flat and all-inclusive — tolls, parking and waiting time — and confirmed at booking. Two players with travel bags fit comfortably in a Business Class; a four-ball with full luggage takes a Business Van and travels together; hosts receiving a guest of standing send a First Class. And because Le Golf National is also the French Golf Federation's national training centre with three courses — the Albatros, the Aigle and the 9-hole Oiselet — plenty of clients come back weekly; regulars simply keep the same driver.

Golf days, tournament weeks and the Versailles pairing

For travelling golfers, the Albatros is a pilgrimage — the amphitheatre mounds of the 2018 Ryder Cup, the water-guarded finish from 15 to 18, the fairways of the Open de France and the 2024 Olympic tournament. The classic visitor's day runs like this: pickup at the hotel around 6:45, range balls at 8, off the course by early afternoon, lunch overlooking the 18th — then the question of getting home. Book the return with the outbound ride and it is already answered; or keep the car on hourly disposal — €79/h in Business Class, €109/h in a Business Van, €150/h in First Class, 2-hour minimum — and the day stays open. The Château de Versailles is 15 minutes away: a morning on the Ryder Cup course and an afternoon in the Hall of Mirrors is, by some distance, our favourite double.

Companies use Le Golf National the way they once used a long lunch. For corporate golf days — a client four-ball, a supplier trophy, a team shotgun start — our event service coordinates cars and vans under one booking: staggered pickups across hotels and offices, clubs and signage in the boots, vehicles on standby through the prize-giving, one grouped return to Paris. Firms that entertain at the course regularly put it on a business account — monthly invoicing, one contact, priority on early-morning slots. During tournament weeks, when the site switches to event mode and access is controlled, we run to the designated drop-off points and adjust routes daily.

Staying on site at the resort hotel, or out in Versailles or Saint-Quentin? We shuttle between hotel, course and Paris restaurants all week. For a multi-day golf itinerary — Le Golf National plus the other great courses of the west of Paris — talk to us directly and we will build the programme around your tee times.

Le Golf National Chauffeur FAQ

How do I get to Le Golf National from Paris without a car?

The course is in Guyancourt, Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, about 35 km south-west of Paris — no métro, no station at the clubhouse, few taxis at dawn. A pre-booked chauffeur collects you at your hotel with your clubs and drops you at the clubhouse in 40 to 55 minutes, timed to your tee time.

How much is a transfer from CDG to Le Golf National?

From €179 in Business Class, €234 in a Business Van and €294 in First Class — flat and all-inclusive, with flight tracking and a name sign in arrivals. Count 60 to 80 minutes depending on traffic.

Can my chauffeur carry my golf clubs and luggage?

Yes — a Business saloon takes one or two travel bags plus cabin luggage; for three or four players with full travel bags, book a Business Van. Tell us the bag count at booking and we assign the right vehicle.

Will the chauffeur wait during my round on the Albatros?

Either book the return for an agreed time — a round plus lunch usually means 5 to 6 hours on site — or take the car on hourly disposal from €79/h and it waits at the clubhouse, leaving exactly when you do.

Can you organise transport for a corporate golf day?

Yes — coordinated cars and 7-seat vans: staggered morning pickups across Paris, vehicles on standby through the shotgun start and prize-giving, one grouped return. Multi-vehicle programmes are quoted per programme.

Can I combine a round at Le Golf National with Versailles?

Easily — the Château de Versailles is about 15 minutes from the course. Play the Albatros in the morning, visit the palace or dine in Versailles after, with the chauffeur on hourly disposal for the whole day.
