The Grand Steeple — and every other jump meeting of the season
The Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris, in late May, is the summit of French jump racing: nearly 6,000 metres over Auteuil's biggest obstacles, the grandstands full, and the whole porte d'Auteuil sector under pressure — because the Grand Steeple weekend regularly collides with the Roland-Garros fortnight a few hundred metres away. Two crowds, one interchange. We run all weekend — airport pickups for owners and guests flying in, staggered hotel collections for groups, drivers briefed on the day's closures around the stadium, and a fixed return the moment the last race is run. One rule from experience: book several days ahead; on Grand Steeple Sunday, the pre-booked cars are the only ones that exist in the west of Paris.
The rest of the jump season runs in two acts — spring from March to early July, autumn from September to December — with Sunday cards, the great hurdle races and steeple-chase trials on the road to the Grand Steeple. Autumn meetings finish at dusk, which is exactly when an unbooked ride home from the edge of the Bois becomes a problem. Regular racegoers keep it simple with a chauffeur on hourly disposal — €79/h in Business Class, €109/h in a Business Van, €150/h in First Class, 2-hour minimum: the car waits through the card, holds your coats and winnings between races, and leaves whenever you do.
For hospitality boxes and corporate race days, our event service coordinates several cars and vans under one booking — one contact, staggered pickups, a single grouped return. Owners and connections who want the quietest possible day take First Class, with a chauffeur used to paddock timing and discreet exits. And if the jumps are only half your programme — flat racing across the Bois another day — see our ParisLongchamp page, or talk to us directly for a multi-car programme quoted per itinerary.
