Retz, Marly — and a day that should not be rushed
Joyenval's two eighteens carry the names of their neighbours: the Retz, rolling parkland beside the famous Désert de Retz and its eighteenth-century follies, and the Marly, cut against the great royal forest. Both are the work of Robert Trent Jones Sr, and the day built around them follows club time, not train time — practice balls before the round, a proper lunch at the château, sometimes a second nine when the light holds. A car with a fixed departure fights that rhythm; a chauffeur protects it.
Regulars solve it with hourly disposal — €79/h in Business Class, €109/h in a Business Van, €150/h in First Class, 2-hour minimum: the car stays at the club, keeps jackets, phones and a change of shoes aboard, and leaves the moment you do. It is also the right formula for a morning at Joyenval followed by an afternoon of meetings in Paris or at La Défense — one chauffeur, one thread through the day, no dead time.
For client invitations and private golf days, our event service coordinates several cars and vans under one booking — staggered hotel pickups, bags matched to players, a grouped return after the prize-giving. Members who host in First Class get a chauffeur fluent in the etiquette of private clubs: on time, unobtrusive, and silent about the guest list. Guests flying in by private aviation via Le Bourget are met at the FBO — see our business aviation service, or talk to us directly for a multi-car programme.
